BRIEF BIO
Hold PhD and M.Sc(Tech) in Marine Geophysics from Cochin University of Science and Technology, eighteen years of research experience in various Research Institutes in India as various capacities, including Engineering Seismology Division, Central Water and Power Research Station, Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India, Pune and Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines, Govt of India, Hyderabad and worked for various projects in India and in neighbouring countries such as Nepal & Bhutan.
Areas of interest include Seismic surveillance studies for various river valley projects, including Installation, testing and maintenance of Seismological instruments (Digital/Analog Micro Earthquake Recorders and Digital/Analog Strong Motion Accelerographs). Site response studies under Seismic hazard microzonation for different urban cities in south India by ambient noise method. Integrated detailed geophysical studies (Gravity, Magnetic, Electrical Resistivity, IP, SP & EM
