Graduated in B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1986 and joined as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, NSS College of Engineering ,Palakkad a Government aided Engineering College , Kerala. Obtained ME in Engineering Design from Bharathiyar University,Tamilnadu in the Year 1996. Developed the methodology for Design of low noise control valves with multi stage Pressure reduction for Instrumentation Limited, Palakkad, Kerala a Public Sector Undertaking under Government of India as apart of ME Project work.Joined as Lecturer in the School of Engineering,CUSAT , Kochi in 1999.Obtained Ph. D from IISc,Banglore in the year 2008..Publication of Microstructural evolution and grain Boundary sliding in a Superplastic Magnesium AZ31 alloy in Acta Materialia was one among the top 25 hottest articles from April 2009 to September 2009. Promoted as Professor in the year 2006. Took the Charge as Head of ,Division of Mechanical Engineering for a period 2013 -2014,Principal from 2016-20
