BRIEF BIO
Mrs. Jean Vinitha Peter, Assistant Professor (Law), graduated in Law from Government Law College, Ernakulam and took Master’s in Law from the School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology. Practised as Advocate in the Subordinate Courts and High Court of Kerala at Ernakulam. Joined as Assistant Professor in the Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Aluva and thereafter was appointed as Assistant Professor in the School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology on a permanent basis. Currently, pursuing Ph. D on Protection of Victim Rights under the guidance of Dr. P.S. Seema in the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT. Specialisations are Criminal Law and Constitutional Law and teaches Law relating to Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Law, Property Law and Civil Procedure Law in the Under Graduate level. Also engages classes in Criminal Law and Human Rights law at the Post Graduate level. Has participated in many National and International Seminars
