BRIEF BIO
Dr Ancy V P currently serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Industrial Fisheries, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala. She took her Graduation and Post-Graduation from Sacred Heart College Thevara and secured the best result holder: Pothen Joseph Endowment Award in the year 1994. She was awarded PhD in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in 2016 for the thesis entitled “Fishing Industry in Kerala: The perils of International Quality Assurance Standards. She has glorious 25 years of teaching experience in various Educational Institutions like the Collegiate Education Department, Thiruvananthapuram, Government Aided Plus two and CBSE Schools. She is an aspiring researcher in the field of Industrial Economics, Fisheries Economics, Challenges of Sustainable Development, Human Resource Management, and Coastal Management. She has designed and developed MOOC Course on Economics of Fisheries.
