BRIEF BIO
Dr. Rhine Kumar A. K joined the Department of Physics, CUSAT, as Assistant Professor in June 2017. Dr. Rhine Kumar has been the Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) of CUSAT since February 2022. He was also elected to the Senate of the CUSAT in February 2023. He has also been a visiting scientist at RIKEN, Japan, since May 2014. Before joining the Department of Physics, CUSAT, he worked as DST-INSPIRE Faculty at the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka. He has also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, from 2015 to 2017. Rhine Kumar received his PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India 2015. He received MSc degree in Physics from Kannur University, Kannur, Kerala, in 2010.
