BRIEF BIO
Dr. Seema P.S. did her post-graduation and doctorate in Law from the School of Legal Studies, Cochin university of Science and Technology. Her specializations are Criminal Law, Constitutional Law for the post-graduation. She has been teaching Human Rights Law for LL.M. students from 01-07-2000 onwards. Her Ph.D. is in “Protection of Farmers’ Rights in India- Challenges for Law in the context of Plant Breeders’ Rights”. Her other areas of interests are Environmental Law, Women’s rights, Children’s Rights, Rights of disabled, family Law, intellectual Property Rights and Entrepreneurship. She has several publications in the area of Human Rights, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, International Humanitarian Law, Rights of persons living with HIV/AIDS, child rights, triple talaq, disabled persons, female criminality, etc. She has designed the syllabi for various elective courses for LL.M like “Rights of the accused- National and International dimensions”, Farmers Rights, Human Rights and the
