BRIEF BIO
Dr. Ginson Joseph works as the Assistant Professor (Fish Processing Technology) in the School of Industrial Fisheries, Lakeside campus CUSAT. He had been worked as Assistant Professor in the Research Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and Deputy Dean of Human Resource Development and Training, St. Albert's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. He had served as Assistant Director in Marine Product Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Govt. of India. His Ph.D. research had been carried out at the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin. Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Govt. of India bestowed the “Jawaharlal Nehru Award for Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research in Agricultural and Allied Sciences” to Dr. Ginson in recognition for the contributions of his Ph.D. research on “Optimization of high-pressure processing parameters for Indian white prawn (Fenneropenaeus indicus) and its shelf life evaluation during chilled storage”.
