BRIEF BIO
Dr. Ajil Kottayil is a post graduate in Physics and did his PhD and Licentiate in Engineering from Lulea University of Technology, Kiruna, Sweden. He has extensive experience in satellite remote sensing, radiative transfer modelling and wind profiler data processing and analysis.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
Infrared and Microwave remote sensing of Earth’s atmosphere, Radiative transfer modeling and Inversion algorithms, Science of extreme events using observations and models, Understanding the convective sources of air at tropopause region using Lagrangian back trajectory modelling
