BRIEF BIO
Dr. Suja Purushothaman Devipriya is a Professor and Director of the School of Environmental Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). With over 20 years of expertise in environmental sciences, she specializes in areas including microplastics, pollution treatment, and ecological studies. she teaches courses in Industrial Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Monitoring and Biodiversity Conservation. Her current research tackles the global microplastic crisis through innovative monitoring and policy approaches. Dr. Suja is also an active mentor, guiding students and young researchers in advancing environmental solutions.
