BRIEF BIO
| Dr. SASI GOPALAN Joined in CUSAT as Lecturer in Mathematics in the School of Engineering, CUSAT in 01-07-2003 with 7 years teaching experience from IHRD. Placed as Associate professor in 2009 and Professor in 2012 onwards at SOE . Served as head Division of Applied Science & Huminites, SOE (2013 to 2015). In July 2019 , selected to the new vacant post as Professor at Department of Mathematics, CUSAT. Taken Charge as Head , Department of Mathematics, CUSAT from 17 -05-2021 onwards. Elected three times to the senate CUSAT (14-02-2007 to 13-02-2011, 14-02-2011 to 13-02-2015 and from 14-02-2019 onwards) . Received Major Project SERB in the year 2013. Served as warden for boys hostel 2007 - 2014 and Chief Warden (2018-2019). Introduced Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of UGC in 2009 and Skill Orientation Center for Engineering (SOCE) of AICTE in 2019 . Gov. of Kerala nominated to CUSAT syndicate on 25th Feb 2019. |
