BRIEF BIO
Dr. Jeena Kleenankandy is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, Kerala. She has a Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Calicut for the thesis titled "Linguistically motivated deep learning models for measuring semantic textual similarity". Though her interests spread across multiple domains, her expertise is in the area of Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Jeena has been working as an Assistant Professor at Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Ettimadai before returning to her alma mater CUSAT. She started her career as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies, Kochi in 2007, and her teaching career at Chinmaya Institute of Technology, Kannur in 2011. In total, she has 6+ years of academic/industry experience. She holds an M.Tech degree in Software Engineering from CUSAT and B.Tech in CSE from College of Engineering Thalassery.
