BRIEF BIO
| Basically a naval architect. Served as consultant to various marine Industry including port and harbours. Responsible for modernization of Inland waters of Odisha. Involved in the capacity enhancement of Chennai harbor by deepening to admit/berth container vessels of draft 18m. Experienced both in steel fabrication and FRP moulding. Have multi-disciplinary interest. Have experience in ship resistance , model testing, computer aided ship design. Experience gained from setting up of High speed Towing Tank ( Length 500m, breadth 8m and depth 8m, Carriage speed 20 m/sec. can be duplicated to smaller towing tanks as per requirement. Have 35 plus years teaching, research experience majorly in IIT Madras and DRDO . Guided 7 Ph Ds and 9 MSs in Ocean Engineering.
