BRIEF BIO
He holds a bachelor's degree from Kerala University and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Fisheries from CUSAT. He completed his PhD at the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin 2009. He has five years of teaching and administrative experience at CIFNET (Govt. of India) before joining CUSAT in 2015. He has three years of experience in the seafood industry, which he gained by working with seafood processing industries in India and chitin-chitosan manufacturing companies in India and Indonesia. Having received the International award from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Nature, USA, in 2005 and the Best Scientific Paper award from the Society of Fisheries Technologists, India, in 2012, he now holds the position of Director at the School of Industrial Fisheries of CUSAT. He is also a part of various committees within Cochin University, including the Senate, academic council, board of studies, and academic committee of CUSAT.
