Bio mass upgradation to value - added chemicals, Development of enzyme immobilized biosensors and optical sensors based on quantum dots for pharmaceutical analysis, Development of methods for trace analysis of metals, Development of new Spectrophotometric methods for Pharmaceuticals, Development of sensors based on Flourescence, Environmental Chemistry and Pollution Monitoring, Fabrication of biosensors for determination of pharmaceuticals, Fabrication of different types of chemical sensors , specifically electrochemical and optical sensors.Electrochemical sensors include potentiometric sensors, incorporating different types of ionophores – calixarenes, porphyri, Fabrication of electrochemical sensors for determination of metal ions and pharmaceuticals, Synthesis, characterization and application studies of Coordination complexes including polymeric complexes
