Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has strengthened its academic processes through the systematic implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and an efficient attendance management system, both supported by dedicated software-enabled platforms. The university ensures that Programme Outcomes, Programme-Specific Outcomes, and Course Outcomes are clearly defined, mapped, and assessed through structured documentation and continuous monitoring by departments and IQAC. The software support enables faculty to manage CO–PO mappings, assessment records, attainment calculations, and daily attendance in a streamlined and transparent manner, providing real-time access for students and facilitating timely identification of attendance shortages. Together, OBE practices and technology-enabled attendance tracking enhance academic accountability, promote data-driven decision-making, and support continuous quality improvement across CUSAT.
