CUSAT has consistently maintained high academic standards and a strong
commitment to quality enhancement. In recognition of these efforts, the National
Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited the University with
an ‘A+’ Grade in October 2022, which is valid for a period of five years. This
distinction reflects CUSAT’s sustained emphasis on academic rigour, impactful
research, effective governance, student welfare, and a vibrant campus ecosystem
that fosters holistic development.
The NAAC accreditation marks a major milestone in the University’s pursuit of
continuous quality improvement. It reinforces CUSAT’s dedication to maintaining
transparency, accountability, and excellence in teaching, research, and extension
activities. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a pivotal role in
institutionalizing quality culture, preparing and submitting the Annual Quality
Assurance Reports (AQAR), and promoting best practices across departments.
With the NAAC ‘A+’ accreditation, CUSAT continues to strengthen its academic
reputation both nationally and internationally, reaffirming its mission to nurture
knowledge, innovation, and social responsibility for sustainable and inclusive
development.
