Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has once again demonstrated
its academic strength and commitment to excellence through its remarkable
performance in the NIRF 2025 rankings. The University has secured the 6 th
position among State Public Universities, underscoring its strong performance
and reputation among leading public universities in India.
In the University Category, CUSAT has attained the 32 nd rank at the national
level, highlighting its growing prominence and academic vibrancy. In the Overall
Category, the University stands at the 50 th position, reflecting balanced
excellence across all key parameters of evaluation, including research, teaching,
outreach, and perception.
CUSAT has also achieved commendable discipline-specific rankings in NIRF 2025.
The faculty of Law continues to uphold its legacy of excellence, securing the 13 th
rank in the Law Category, placing it among the top law schools in the country.
Likewise, in the Management Category, the University has been ranked 82 nd ,
indicating its strong potential and evolving performance in management education
and research.
